Repair Shop Information & Policy #
By Appointment Only #
When booking, or emailing (lutherie@tonereaver.com), please include information about your repair, setup, or the issue(s) you are experiencing in the Notes box.
We operate strictly by appointment to ensure focused attention on every instrument.
Deposit Policy
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required per instrument at the time of drop-off or upon shipping to us. This deposit is applied in full toward the final repair cost.
The deposit will be invoiced via email and must be paid before or at the time of drop-off/shipping.
Pick-up / Shipping Options Local drop-off and pick-up are available by appointment. We can also arrange convenient pick-up of your instrument (South Florida area) or receive it via shipping.
Repair estimates — Due to the individualized nature of each instrument, initial repair
estimates may require several days to prepare accurately.
Parts availability — Because every instrument has unique requirements, repairs may be delayed
pending the availability of rare, custom, or specialty parts.
Service options — Expedited repair services are available upon request.
We also offer emergency touring support for VIP members!
Billing — Most repairs, maintenance, and services are billed at our hourly labor rate, with
the exception of select flat-rate services where applicable.
Invoicing — Upon completion of the work, we will send an invoice to the email address on file.
Payment and release — Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice to release your serviced
item(s).
We are happy to accommodate shipping via your preferred carrier or arrange local delivery as needed.
Minimum fee — A minimum service fee of $30 applies to all jobs.
Pickup timeline — Once we notify you that your repair(s) is complete, please arrange to pick up your
instrument within 5 business days.
If you need more time or alternative arrangements (such as shipping), kindly let us know in advance
so we can assist.
Turnaround times — Standard repairs typically take 2–4 days, while most restorations require 2–4 weeks.
However, turnaround times may be extended due to high demand, complex or time-intensive work, or delays in
sourcing parts (which can sometimes take months).
We document progress and proactively communicate any anticipated delays.
Storage for extended waits — If an instrument, amplifier, or speaker cabinet must remain in our shop for
more than 30 days while awaiting parts or customer approval, a monthly storage fee will apply.
We maintain a secure, climate-controlled storage facility to manage space responsibly and prevent backlog
in the workshop—particularly important when items are partially disassembled during repair.
Storage rates — Monthly climate-controlled, secure storage is $40 per instrument/item.

Our commitment — We approach every instrument with the same care we would give our own, often investing many hours (or days) to ensure it performs at its absolute best—so you can sound your best on stage or in the studio.
Out-of-town or delayed pickup — If you are traveling or unable to pick up within the initial 5-day window, please notify us as soon as possible so we can work with you on next steps.
Extended storage — After 7 days from the completion notification, a daily storage fee of $10 per day will begin, and the item will be transferred to our secure off-site storage facility. Retrieval from storage requires 24 hours’ advance notice.
Shipping — Convenient shipping options are available and can be arranged upon request.
Late payment — If the invoice remains unpaid after 5 days, a late fee of 3.5% of the total balance will accrue daily until payment is received.
Unclaimed property — Should your item remain unclaimed and unpaid for 90 days following completion notification, it may become the property of Tone Reaver, LLC. We will provide all required notifications and documentation to you and handle the matter in full compliance with applicable laws.
